I’m typing as my adorable son talks to his Sophie giraffe. It’s early morning and he is so happy. He’s playing contently on the floor. Every once in a while he’ll look my way and give me an ear to ear grin. Life is so good. Honestly, things are great these days. Evan is sleeping so much better and it seems like he’s growing by the minute. He can get from one end of the room to the other in record speed if he sees something he wants. He does this inch worm thing to move forward and it is the cutest thing you’ve ever seen! He’ll be full on crawling before I know it. Sometimes I tear up looking at him. I can’t believe how he’s developing, I can’t believe John and I are responsible for creating him, and I’m so excited to see what the coming days, weeks, months, years are going to bring. Happy snowy Tuesday!

Josie, this is such a cute picture! I agree, Evan is growing very fast! Enjoy every minute of it because it doesn't slow down! Merry Christmas to you, John, and adorable Evan!
ReplyDeleteHe is getting so big!!! So glad that he is sleeping well for you. What a truly handsome little guy you have on your hands. I can't wait to meet him. xoxoxoxox

I feel the exact same way.. I was tearing up today watching my almost 8 week old daughter as she was sleeping on me. I can't believe how much my life has changed in the past 8 weeks, even though it feels like she has always been a part of it! The love I have for her is incredible - I never thought I could love someone so much! I've enjoyed watching Evan grow over these last several months and reading your comments. Happy holidays to your family - what an exciting Christmas this will be for you :)
ReplyDeleteOMG, Evan, I miss you soooo much!
ReplyDeleteYou are looking SO sweet in your Santa hat!
Love you xo
Your little guy is getting so big - he looks so grown up in that photo! I can't believe that it's been 7 months already for my little guy, Cameron as well (he was born may 14). The time is just flying by. Enjoy your Christmas and the holidays - I agree with you, this year is so special and we are excited too, to start our own traditions!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays,
Carolyn
Hey is so cute
ReplyDeleteEvan is such a cutie pie! I know exactly how you feel! I wish I could just freeze time because my 6 month old is growing waay too fast! Watching them develop is just amazing.
ReplyDeleteEvan is such a cutie. I have 2 little boys - 1yr old and a 5yr old. I know what you mean about the difficulties meeting new people. We have our various friends but I have also been on the hunt to make new friends and its very difficult as an adult. Even if you join an activity people are always there with someone else in most cases, whether a spouse or friend. Its especially difficult to find another couple you both "click" with.
ReplyDeleteI should start an online group "in search of new girl friends" to chat about our kids and try new experiences such as wine tasting, small meal restaurants, etc. to get that "girls night out" every month or so. hmm..not a bad idea.
Happy holiday to you, John and Evan :)
